Brady caught his 1st fish with Pappy. I'd say he looks pretty excited. He loves fishing with Pappy so much that he even made up a song, just ask him and he'll sing it for you.
"Take me out to go fishin'
Take me out to the pond.
Buy me some worms & an ice cream cone,
I don't care if I don't catch a thing,
All we've caught so far is a pinecone,
and a turtle snapped at my line.

What was so much fun about this trip is what lead up to catching the fish. Brady had a couple of fish whirl the surface but we were not able to set the hook. I also missed setting the hook on a couple others. So it seemed like another day of catching bottom and throwing worms and rocks in the water. With about only 20 minutes of fishing time left Brady asked me to put the bobber from my pole on to his line. I said OK and for him to reel in the line. While he was reeling in the line the fish hit and pulled the rod form his hands. He yelped, "Pappy what is
that?" Once he felt what the fish tug is like he was able to reel in the fish with just me helping hold the pole.
